Leanne Booker

Leanne, a wife and mother of four, was a lawyer for nearly 30 years before retiring to become a registered celebrant. With more time available she wanted to find a charity to devote her time to and through friendships with several members, became aware of Hearts for Africa and the amazing work they do for the people of Tanzania. Leanne’s passion is fundraising and so she was asked to assist Hearts with raising much needed funds.

This developed into years of serving in mission and refugee ministry in parish life. Helen formed and has managed the Foundation’s Thrift Shop at Sunnybank over several years.
