Volunteering |

Volunteers are the life-force that keeps The Hearts for Africa (Amani) Foundation running. All the work of the Foundation is done by volunteers and there are no paid employees. Volunteers provide banking, accounting, data input and database maintenance, administrative work, mail-outs, organisation of fundraising events and assistance at functions. | ||

A little shop with a big heart.Donate your surplus to our ‘little shop with a big heart’, where everybody finds a bargain and feels good doing so. You can provide quality clothes, bric a brac, toys, games, paintings, books, jewellery, ladies accessories, kitchen and homewares, manchester, soft furnishings etc. Trading Hours: Tuesday-Friday from 9am-4pm & Saturday from 8.30am-12 noon. |
2. Vegetable Market Stalls in Brisbane, AustraliaMany hands make light work |

A team of our volunteers work in vegetable stores at markets around Brisbane that are operated by Charity 72 founded by John & Dell Emerick of Mulgowie Farming Company, a large Australia-wide vegetable producer. Charity 72 is a substantial benefactor of the Foundation’s work.If you want to make a positive impact we would love to hear from you and welcome any time you can offer. |
3. Anywhere in the WorldA little support means a lot |

Wherever you are, form a small fundraising group with your friends or family! Make a difference and have fun doing it.We rely on fundraising events to fund our relief projects. ‘Be the change’ and tell us your fundraising ideas to assist the underprivileged children of Tanzania. |

Want a rewarding life experience?Volunteers with appropriate skills such as classroom teaching, nursing, medical training, farming, engineering, carpentry, IT and the other trades can apply to work directly at the Amani Centre in Tanzania. |
